This guy is standing in my constituency Sennedd Election. I for one am impressed with his father's medal collection.

Not quite sure amusing so much as bemusing, but a woman from another team set a meeting with me and a colleague of mine for 9am today to get input into a piece of work she is doing. By ten past she still hadn't turned up, so we dropped and moved on with our day.

A little before 9:30 she sent us a chat message saying she'd been caught up with something else and would we rejoin the bridge, when we said we were now busy and she'd have to reschedule she advised that in future, if she is late to a call we should message her as "it is usually because [she is] concentrated on the task at hand and lost track of time".

In 30 years that might be the rudest thing anyone has ever said to me at work.

It's clear from this that we have never worked together.

I've been called many things, but at least that's honest and I likely deserved it. The shifting of blame to us for her failure to attend a meeting she requested, and the expectation that we not allow it to happen again, is breathtakingly arrogant.

In fairness she will get her wish, I won't allow it to happen again. I simply won't accept any of her meeting requests.

A spam e-mail claiming to be from Kash Patel, director of the FBI confirming that a recent approach (that I haven't had, obviously) from The National Bank of Belgium is genuine. Very kind of him.

Not just appearances either. From Tory to Reform, from Remainer to arch Brexiteer. There is no opportunity he won't try to get his slippery hands on by adopting different views.

He was originally elected as a mini Cameron. Never seen a bandwagon he didn’t want to jump on. Once it reaches a high enough level of popularity.

Paul Taylor's pronunciation of Awoniyi's first name on the Forest Focus podcast.

    I've never heard 'Tay-woo' before.

EDIT: I think he may be taking the piss now or trying to win a bet. Where's he had 'Eye-gor Jesus' from? And that going with 'Jesus' as in Christ. Remarkable.

He's a print journalist, so pronunciation isn't really his field.

If only there was a definitive guide. Oh there is and he's wrong (Forest starts at about hour in): www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScNovNeQUU4

The lead singer of popular heavy band Beartooth came out as gay over the weekend. This is a pretty unremarkable thing in metal - Rob Halford of Judas Priest has been publicly out for decades - but the child in me can't help but giggle at a guy called Caleb Shomo coming out. Talk about nominative determinism.
