I have found it painful to look at that page. Simply because the numbers don't reconcile. I note that the error has gone up to 7, from the 6 when I last looked.
Presumably small parties that they aren't classifying as independents?

My dads a member of Rutland and Melton Labour Party. They haven’t had much joy for years but have returned 5 councillors in Melton (including one in Bottesford) and even two in Oakham.
901 now with 30 councils to go.
Rushcliffe remains resolutely conservative.
