Man U had 29 shots. Yes, heads dropped for a while after the 2nd goal and yes we were caught over-committing to attack at the end chasing an equaliser but fuck me we were wide open far too often.

I'd need to know what the time of those shots were. We were wide open as we chased the game and they missed loads in the last 10 minutes.
According to the BBC live text they had 3 shots in the last 10 minutes of normal time and 5 more between 94 minutes and full time.
It's possible that they missed one or two where a shot was blocked immediately resulting in another shot.
Okay PGMOL. Give us a list of all the penalties given in the 'ship era for handball. We will have a vote by everyone who has ever watched a football match, on which of them is actually handball.
If that one today doesn't appear in the top ten percent you can keep your clearly bent decision.
It’s the end of a long slog of a season.. I can’t get worked up about a draw at old trafford. Theatre of dodgy refereeing decisions.
Beautiful morning here so went for a ride and a coffee by the bay, no VAR just fresh air, sunshine and some very attractive women out for a walk..
I obviously made the right decision.
Don't forget to include the disallowed Jesus goal at Liverpoo.
Also commiserations to Tony Harrington. So close to winning shittest decision of the season (booking Dominguez for being fouled and awarding Sunderland the free kick they scored the winner from) only to have it snatched away on the penultimate weekend.
I actually really enjoyed the game as I was completely unstressed by it but fuck me how can their second goal be allowed to stand. The away support were 100% correct with "3-2 to the referee!". I mean, they spent the rest of the broadcast sucking Bruno Fernandes's arse. Everyone and their sister said it was handball and they shrugged it off and waxed lyrical about how great the Scum were with a Casemiro presentation at the end and a massive media applause for the giant that is Manchester Utd.
We were very ragged at the end but I thought we played well and were totally robbed. Hopefully next season we have recovered our Mojo and the twats of Manchester have reverted to type.
Anderson was pretty special today. Also MGW a little unlucky not to get a couple of goals. Those two really work well together. Angry Wasp Dom very good today too.
But yes, as Tricky would say. The Premier League is bent. So why should we care.
Chicago: Still yelling at the television.

The international broadcast must have been different from Sky. Neville made it very clear he thought it should have been disallowed and said so for the remainder of the game.
Different broadcast.
We got the totally biased for Utd version so the Americans can buy more stuff.
Cunts.
Chicago: Still strangely unmoved.

You realise we lost right?
The FA and FIFA appear to have different rules on this handball malarky.
FIFA on p104 say:
Handling the ball
For the purposes of determining handball offences, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit.
It is an offence if a player:
-deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, including moving the hand/arm towards the ball
-scores in the opponents’ goal directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper
-after the ball has touched their or a team-mate’s hand/arm, even if accidental, immediately:
• scores in the opponents’ goal
• creates a goal-scoring opportunity
However, the FA narrow it:
It is an offence if a player:
-deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball
-touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised
-scores in the opponents' goal:
directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper
immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental
Under FIFA rules, today's wasn't a goal, but under FA rules it was a goal as there is no mention of not being allowed to assist with an accidental handball.
Not that we should pay any attention to the FA rules because that's not how handball has been refereed all season. But I thought it important to point out that not only are PGMOL deliberately incompetent, but the people running the game create a situation for that deliberate incompetence to exist.
Isn't that all moot as it wasn't accidental handball. He controlled it using his arm and torso.
The referees reason on pitch for giving the goal was it was accidental. I'm not saying it was accidental, but if the ref wanted to give the goal, FIFA and the FA have given him wiggle room to do so.

The laws are shit for football, the integrity of the game, and for real fans. They are, however, entirely fit for purpose.
