Not really anything encouraging about it. We are devoid of ideas against a team devoid of talent.
Not sure whose great idea it was to put this match in a primetime slot.

There was a good example of the McAtee thing there. He was running with space, first phase run's ahead of him, including a channel ball to possibly run onto a shot. But he missed those, and played it square with the outside of his foot, into a second phase run by Sclager, who was beaten to it by the defender.
I love the way Delap that works the defenders.
13 shots, 2 on target, both from outside the box and one by the left (wing) back whilst once again Dan is where our attacks go to Ndoye a death.
It's all a bit Dyche in that regard.
And a better team than Coventry would've taken advantage of the times they've got the ball behind our DM 'shield' and ran at the back 3.
You have to show everyone a certain number of times. Neither of these teams are likely to have much interest in the latter half of the season, so let's get them out of the way early.
Probably being careful as he was on a booking.
I find myself sitting here thinking "at least I have the Jets to look forward to tomorrow" and that's a very strange feeling.
This game is utter slop. Like someone took 22 men who'd never seen a football match before and described to them over the phone how it's supposed to work, and now they're giving it their best shot. Munoz has had a couple of moments of quality and Delap is working hard, and that's about it.
I'm starting to wonder whether putting "without goals" in the thread title might see the end of Ingo. Fucking clueless as always. I long for the days of Chicago.
It was never ever going to be the easy game everyone wanted.
If a team has just shipped 8 in two games, it’s not going to happen again.
And Super Stevie Cooper wearing slacks with white trainers and a long sleeve polo. Disaster.
No half time changes for Forest. The manager is happy with what he's seen so far. Good good.
Meanwhile Coventry replace probably their most dangerous player. WTF is this game?
Modern systems, no kick, run run run around football can go a bit like that. If the players don't connect.
I'm not going to lie to you. I preferred the old days of fat knackers steaming into each other, and trying to execute a rare moment of skill. The odd bit of run run runaround was fun (when it was Marlon), but when they all do it, or defend with the ball, it makes my voice go hoarse.
Being forced to go long and not winning second balls.
This is not great.
Stinks of 0-1
There you go
