Lots of effort from both teams but very little quality. We seem to have removed all of the pace from our team and with not much creativity we don't currently have a clear and effective way to play. Hopefully that will come.

It was pretty clearly handball. It was unfortunate because he was putting his arms up to stop Tonali kicking him in the face, but you can't use your hand to score a goal unless you're a world superstar playing against one of the Home Nations.

Exactly, and this debate shows it wasn't therefore a clear and obvious error. So it should have stood. We have been robbed of a win.

Neco Didn't handle based on the evidence presented. Clear goal. Also Bentencourt jumped on Jesus before the ball got to him. Absolute 100% penalty. What's the betting if it was the other way that would have been called. If it was Spam Utd it would have been.
We should have had a goal and a penalty. The Premier league is even more bent this season. Lucky for us Spuds are shit. Unfortunately we are as boring as mud. And as stated before the game Jesus is way better than N'Doye who had better endeavour today but isn't in the class of the Brazilian. We looked much better with him on. Also when Wood passed to Munoz the bloke was in and then he slowed down to a crawl to pass. Very odd.
This is going to be a long frustrating season. We won't concede many but we might end up being the bottom scorers too especially with the luck we had today.

Russ I think you are forgetting or maybe are not aware, Glasner has had a slow start at every side he manages. What we need to be looking for is progress, how the new players integrate and how the old players adapt to the system.
After the first two games, many of our fans were saying we didn't have the wingbacks to play the system and that our centre midfield wasnt good enough. Nobody's saying that now after Aina and Neco's performances against Liverpool and Neco again today, and after the Munoz signing, and after seeing how McAtee has taken to the centre midfield role. That's significant. There are signs about how Delap is going to work. He's big and fast and gives us a competent different channel to Wood or Jesus. We have options on the bench. Cunha has been brilliant. It's messy and unmelded but I can see how this could be so good, and we have a manager with the resolve and calmness to see it through. We have also just got points out of two matches against two of the top 4 most expensive squads in the league. The Leeds matches were disappointing but the last two games have been fine for the stage we are at and we are only going to get better. I fancy us to beat Villa.

Having watched it a few more times, looked at some stills, and listened to Neco I've changed my mind and think it should have been given.
