I was waiting for mention of that all article. An absolute classic from my mid to late teens and the only reason I knew who he was.

A newspaper obit is supposed to tell you about a notable person's achievements in their life. A correctly written obit would say something like "while perhaps more widely known by the general public for his production work on Madonna's second phase of her career, his greatest influence was in creating a seminal work that played a huge part in taking an underground electronic genre from small festivals to arenas and superclubs, and providing a foundation for DJs like Tiesto and Armand van Helden to become global superstars commanding hundreds of thousands of pounds for a single appearance", rather than just gushing for paragraphs about Madonna.
