    I don’t disagree and the Guardian should have done better than make most of the article about Madonna. However, unlike Russ, the vast majority of the population were not dropping tabs and clubbing in the 1990’s, even if said arenas were sold out. Whereas most people have heard of Madonna, whose career he helped relaunch and for which he won Grammies. So it’s arguably his most widely known contribution even if it’s not necessary his most important.
