Definitely Unbe livable.
Definitely Unbe livable.
Producer as well, I believe.
Ohh oh. Ohhh oh.
I told my friend that he had died and she made a blank face. Thinking they maybe didn't register in Canada I put Unbelievable on and the face remained blank. Then I realized that that song is the same age as her and now I feel exceedingly old.
Just found out that a school friend and former neighbor had died of Brain Cancer, haven’t spoken to him in probably 10 years now but still seems so cruel, particularly as he managed to turn his life around after a decade of making a complete mess of his life.
Looks like Jason Arday has killed himself. Guessing that will cause absolutely no reflection among the people that have hounded him over the few weeks
Fuck sake

Hounded?
Looking very much like he's a fantasist that got found out. See also The Salt Path.

Had a similar experience this week when a Physio was explaining a stretch to me and I said ‘oh, so it’s basically the Time Warp’ and she had no idea. Her being an Australian of Chinese-Malaysian descent might have been as much a factor as age, mind you.
I had a tape with ‘Out of Time’ by REM on one side, and ‘Schubert Dip’ by EMF on the other… I listened to that tape a lot and feel like those two records are foundational to, tbh, a lot of how my life evolved through teens and beyond. I followed REM’s career forwards and backwards from ‘Out of Time’ but never had much of a clue about anything else EMF did.. but ‘Schubert Dip’ stands up today.
