I think on balance I preferred it when Tricky was primarily banging on about the Tory conspiracy to murder everyone's gran for the Russians.
He's not, but he shouldn't be here. He's not had enough games, is in no sort of form, and is inevitably no more than 80% fit, with an ever present injury threat just around the corner.
'Tuchel scribbling furiously' says the commentator.
'His resignation, hopefully' replies Mrs Rave.
I fucking hate coaches/managers writing during the game. You have staff, they can make notes. Distill your thoughts down to some clear messaging, or just tear someone a new arsehole at half time. It's not rocket science. You can overwork the dough.
Of our four wide players, Djed has been head and shoulders the best. The three in the middle have way more than their oppo. For me we need centre forward runs to pin the centre halves and open up the length of the pitch.
I quite enjoyed that. We matched them for physicality without letting them rile us. Anderson was very good, and Spence excellent. Grandma-face Gordon is getting a lot of opportunities on the left with his running and they don't seem quick enough to keep up with him, but his feet and decision-making are not good enough to capitalise on it. Bellingham is also getting to them and he is good enough to potentially capitalise on it. We were better than them, just. But then have the quality in a moment to hit us and this remains very much a 50/50 game. Rogers hasn't done anything.
I think the ref has done well actually. It's a nasty game and he's done well to keep it relatively under control.
Expert commentator Paul Ifill saying Messi showed great strength to hold off Kane. Looked to me like he just ignored Harry.
I'd love to play against him. He really doesn't fancy a tackle.
This has been Anderson's best game in an England shirt. Showing why City paid what they did.
Not to go full Tricky, but looking at Kane's 1st half touch map I had to pause a moment to figure out which way ENG were kicking
Should he Sit Down?...
Until he gets sent off.
Kick off, back to the keeper. Launched. Kane just pretends to jump in the general direction of. Ball goes to the left headed back into Kane. Flat footed. No movement. Doesn't even challenge for it.
He just winds me the fuck up.
I think we need a bit more fate-tempting criricism of Kane.
Sure.
How and why is Kane the only one playing in a swamp?
