Don't think he's a wingback (although didn't Pereira play him there in Porto?), so he's one of many competing to play behind the striker. Unless he can be the striker but expect we'll be spending up in that position.

He does feature in a lot of social media generated by the club, which sort of makes me think he's staying.
You think the person running the Instagram account has been briefed on the clubs transfer strategy? I doubt it.
Supposedly the England game on Sunday has been moved to 12 noon local time / 7pm UK to avoid a forecast lightning storm. Playing in midday heat will really fuck us.
But much better for tv...
Is that being reported over your way? Not seen anything this side.

A couple of Spanish language outlets were reporting it but I don't know how reputable they are (one of them was Claro Sports), they may have jumped the gun.
Also now reported on bbc tv during halftime in the Aus-Egypt game as ‘looking very likely’
I've a booking in the pub with some mates from 10pm onwards and we're bloody well going to honour it.
We've just changed our restaurant booking to 5pm
I believe it was RD who said England games should be treated the same as wearing women's clothing, only for at home on your sofa. It's solid advice. I haven't worn a dress outside in ages.
Aus v Egypt goes to pens. Both deserve to lose, the only reasonable outcome here is to send both home and put Croatia through.
On balance I'm glad I didn't go out and freeze my tits off to watch that. SBS analysis should be interesting, as the pundits generally seem to come across as spoiling for a fight most of the time anyway
Edit: No likes of Harry Kewell and so relatively placid analysis, and I think it's just too early in the morning for folks to get het up.
