Don't think he's a wingback (although didn't Pereira play him there in Porto?), so he's one of many competing to play behind the striker. Unless he can be the striker but expect we'll be spending up in that position.

I believe it was RD who said England games should be treated the same as wearing women's clothing, only for at home on your sofa. It's solid advice. I haven't worn a dress outside in ages.

On balance I'm glad I didn't go out and freeze my tits off to watch that. SBS analysis should be interesting, as the pundits generally seem to come across as spoiling for a fight most of the time anyway
Edit: No likes of Harry Kewell and so relatively placid analysis, and I think it's just too early in the morning for folks to get het up.
