Canada seem to be very good at all the things that don't matter without the other bits.
So they bring on someone who only does the bit that matters.
So basically Forest with Harry Kane.
And he did the MGW goal celebration.
Richie Laryea looked alright.
He was playing at his level.
Just used the nospoliers link to catch-up on the USA game. Very impressive. They couldn't could they?
Its easy to forget that Reyna played for us.
I've still not watched any games but what I read is Paraguay were very poor, so let's wait and see.
By the way, are we ok with spoilers in this thread?
Fine with me.
Nah, let's have a thread where nobody can talk about what happened.
Nice yellow card cancellation, although different that they continued with play whilst the review happened. It was quite obviously a dive, so shouldn't have taken long.
I think if you don't want to be spoiled on the world cup and open a thread discussing the world cup, that's on you.
Presumably the mistaken identity rule for VAR intervention is supposed to be if book wrong player from the same team rather than from the wrong team.
So if we want to follow the rules as written the VAR shouldn't have got involved there.
Edit: apparently not, it was for exactly the situation that happened. VAR can get involved in yellow or red cards if foul was actually by the opposition.
So it's no spoilers until you've seen the game, right?
