It's relative. I'm not sure that they look ass-enough for our purposes.
Only three players on the bench who shouldn't be in the team. If it was me, I'd set that bunch of players up differently (a 3, netz left wing back, bakwa right, and McAtee in front of Dom/Yates).
A positive spin. We have too many games for the size of (viable) squad so we’re always going to have to chuck the reserves in at some point. So you either weaken the team every week or choose a game to gamble. The positive is that the first team have done the job so far - they could’ve easily lost at Sunderland and on Thursday. Then your still have to rest them but you’d be screwed.
I’m not a huge fan of that side and it does worry me - but maybe it’s the selection that gives us the best chance in the remaining games.
This is brilliant imo, playing Emery at his own game. Sometimes you need to take a gamble in life. Villa are shitting it, from my comprehensive poll of their fanbase (my mate Andy).
I spoke to a villian. Also shitting it. They are clearly pumping laxatives into the West Midland water...that or they can hear the thunder of the oncoming big red train. By 5pm, after we've chipped chelski with the reserves, brum is just going to be a big pile of poo. [over to ingo]
