The second and third goals were astonishing technique. I got a bit frustrated with Morgan during the first half of the season, but he's better than ever right now.

All 3 goals were the kind that most players would have on a career highlight reel. He can be frustrating at times but in terms of pure talent he might be the best we've had since Stan.
I wondered what the gaffer would do at half time and, going by the interviews and pundits, he delivered. As did MGW who I've admittedly taken a while to warm up to, but must undoubtedly now regard as the actual club captain (sorry Yatesy, you're a close/complementary second).
Anyway I actually, for the first time in a while, gave up at around 55mins cuz I was knackered and couldn't put up with much more of that shit. So I went to bed with the intention of having a mind numbing wank but was so tired I just passed straight out. Next thing I knew I'd stirred in my sleep and temporarily, groggily, woke to an altogether different kind of 4 on 1 than I'd planned on viewing. I hope this isn't the new hoovering.
Someone's got to make a gif of that, shirley. I counted 6, which makes for a nice counterpoint to the 6 on 1 involving Lucca a few weeks back.
Morgan still makes a point of putting the armband on Yates every time he comes on the pitch.
So Forest. 6v1 attack - no chance. 1v6 attack, goal inevitable.
I'll be honest. Just before he slipped it in, I thought he'd fucked it.
I haven't quite made my mind up whether it's a really cute finish or a miskick. It's certainly not a natural way to kick the ball.
Here you go.

Can't look at that without hearing Yakety Sax.
Or in Zippy's case Yakety Sex.
I missed the whole game because we were down in London. Managed to check the score a couple of times when it was 0-0, 2-1, 3-1 and 4-1. Sounds from what I'm reading here that we weren't great but played a side on their way down who managed to be worse.
Therefore, still work to do. That said, what a shit weekend for Spurs if West Ham pick up a result tonight.
I would say we were decent second half. And unlike other managers this season, Vitor made changes at half time (rather than like-for-like substitutions on 80 mins) that significantly impacted the game. Several players (notably MGW) were a lot better in the second half.
First half was as poor as I can remember. Possibly a hangover from Thursday? Or a bit of copmlacency? I also thought that, whilst the tribute for Helen Anderson was poignant and thoughtful, how Eliot could play after that is beyond me.
Burnley were terrible, though.
Here you go.
Now make a movie overlaid with Yakety Sax and you'll be a social media sensation.
It's not great quality and has no sound but it's speeded up a bit and you get the gist....

I think the emotional stuff pre-match affected the entire team and was a significant contributor to the poor first half performance.

Perchy certainly seemed a fan of the proactive mindset. IIRC Dyche tried MGW on the right one or two times. I wonder if two up top with him on the left, plus Nico pushing up as well, is actually a secret weapon should the need arise in future.
I wonder if two up top
It felt very temporary and 'desperate' to me, which is a shame, as I think it could be an effective approach for us. I'd be very happy to see both Wood and Jesus start against Sunderland.
