James Perch said similar on Radio Nottingham after the game and, regardless of your view on Perchy, he knows a lot more about playing full-back professionally than any of us.

He only played full back for the first 22 minutes though and then switched to the wing.

I've had the great pleasure of watching professionals arguing about players before.

TL;DR: They can't all be right.

I didn't say he had a bad game, I said I don't think he has the pace to make it as a starting full back in the Premier League.

Wing back. And in part the switch was because Hall was having his way with us down that side, so Vitor switched Neco over there.

Reading the comments below the Athletic's report did make me remember the moment near the end of the game when Trippier came on to a reaction of "so why have they been playing Hall at right back for the whole game then?"

Oh top tip for anyone playing the long game on causing a terrorist atrocity at Forest during a period of severe threat. Just join the queue near kick off and they'll stop doing searches when it's obvious that thousands of people are going to miss the kick off.

Or given that you'd have to already be a season ticket holder or member, probably just do something in the big crowd waiting outside.

Yes the queues to get into the Clough upper were just ridiculous. All the way back to Lady Bay at one point,

Yeah, it's amazing how little we've moved on from tackling huge crowds outside grounds since Hillsborough.
Obviously, it's important that the TV cameras get to broadcast a nice safe, peaceful atmosphere, but from a safety point of view, the huge crowds which build up outside are a massive risk.
Not that I know the answer - Many more turnstiles? Staggered arrival times (but who wants to arrive an hour before kick-off)?

They should offer cheaper beers up until 30 minutes before KO like they do at Brentford, Fulham and Spurs. Would help a little bit.

That's why we're thinking of moving our tickets from the Clough Upper. It's getting worse. At one point yesterday, Newcastle buses entering the carpark were having to cut through the queue. Its an absolute farce. It takes a fuckin age to get out as well if you're heading back to Lady Bay / West B.

The Upper Clough concourses are already heaving as it is. I do wonder how much impact the technology is having - it never used to be like this when you pulled a paper raffle ticket out of your season ticket book....

It does seem to be getting worse. That queue that goes back to Lady Bay bridge is a farce. Upper WB is better, there's barely any queue (though people get confused and think you need to join the long one when you don't).

Upper BC is the worst for getting in and moving around so I’m drawn towards paying the extra £10-£20 to sit in the Main Stand.

For the first time, the Main Stand queues were terrible yesterday and stretched back to the club shop. Usually, it’s walk straight in, even when there are long queues elsewhere.

They seem to be getting a bit hotter on bag size too. For the first time yesterday I was warned that my bag was a bit too big (medium size rucksack) and to try and bring a smaller one next time or I might have issues getting in. Far cry from a few years ago when, on my way back from holiday, I took a 65 litre one in and they barely batted an eyelid !
