Sunderland's Luke O'Nien has written a social media apology for their loss at Bournemouth yesterday, the first line of which is interesting:
"The manager's tactics and set-up today were poor and simply not good enough."
One to keep an eye on.

Apologies, stand down. Looks like it was some AI bullshit posted by a Newcastle fan (which I hadn't noticed on first viewing). Obviously spent a lot of time on it, as it looks like it's come from the player's official Instagram account.
This seems to be the latest thing for getting engagement (though that one sounds a bit different as a wind up).
Seen various lengthy X posts quoting players/managers that are just made up (AI) bollocks, but they get a lot of views and I guess that gives people a pay out?
Oliver Holt in the Mail is saying that City will receive a large points deduction this season to guarantee relegation, but they won't be relegated to L1 or 2.
I'd only be happy with that if they also received a large points deduction in each of the next three seasons. Offences committed over multiple years merit punishments over multiple years.
They will. At the very least. Or the reputation (and future earning power) of the 'ship will be in the skip.
So, Spurs because they obviously aren’t going to get relegated and it keeps Cov in range, Cov to keep Spurs below us (and funny), or draw so they both drop points?
Spurs for me. They aren't going to get relegated.
Coventry for me. Because I'm interested in what they are doing, and everything about spurts is what I despise (just not at shitty manure levels).
If we need the bottom feeders to beat coventry, to have a chance of staying up, we don't deserve to from where we started.
Not that attitude they won’t.
Spurs to lose. Fuck ‘em.
Very nobel, but until we're safe I don't give a fuck who how or why anyone is below us. I'll take three teams getting -20 point deductions for obscure financial irregularities and us still only staying up on GD if necessary. I don't want to go back to the Championship for another 25 years.
Serious question: What is better about your current experience, than that one?
I want to see some merit, I'm not interested in bent. Win it on the field. A process that we started with an advantage.
The problem with the Championship is that you try to win it. Then you end up in the PL.
If anyone says they prefer the Championship I'm not really sure what they're wanting. Just to finish mid table forever?
It's not that I prefer the championship. I just see different pros and cons.
'ship:
High quality football, largely unknown trialists playing for you, mostly there as cannon fodder, prices expensive, occasional tickets almost impossible, constant whine from know-nothings about what great footballists that they are. High level of noise, low bang for buck.
not 'ship:
Chance to watch teambuilding, good access to game, not too much annoying noise, crap players and games.
Jim's point is valid though. If we accept that watching football is more fun when your team is winning, then when you most enjoy the Championship you'll get promoted out of it.
