Soton getting booted was entirely appropriate and getting a points reduction for next season too. 4 points though seems a bit Forest. I would hope that the appeal would result in 6 or 9 the cheating bastards. The only other problem is, as much as this is the right thing and the Prem should do the same with Cheatski and 115 charges they won't because y'know money... Middleborough if they win probably won't sell Hackney to us which would be a bit of a bugger or we would have to pay more and if PSR was a thing next season (apparently it won't be now..) then we might not get him. good talent so 'ull I guess. McBernie is a cunt but at least they should be relegated without a fuss I would reckon.

Football did the right thing today but it will probably be more crooked in the future. Anyway, can someone relegate Citeh>? Can you imagine if Spuds went down on Sunday and then got saved by Citeh being sent down instead? If Wet Sham get the drop that wouldn't happen in a million years.

Anyway, i will watch the Championship final to keep an eye on my new boyfriend (hackney) who we are looking at as the new Gallagher/Geddy.

    Chicago: Weekend warrior.

Edit: As for Villa - meh. It would have been fine if they had just beaten us which they did comprehensively but them gifting the Spuds a lifeline does leave a bit of puke in the throat.... Anyway, after disposing of us it was always likely to happen that they would win.

I did enjoy the Europa league this year, but to be honest it's a very unlevel playing field. Villa are clearly better (i.e. wealthier) than any of the other clubs in it so it's not exactly a massive achievement to win it.

Not sure how true it is but I saw somewhere that Villa's wage bill is 10 times Freiburg's.

Tend to think these things are cyclical though and the era of only the really massive continental clubs being able to match top half English clubs won't last long.

Someone mentioned Emery has spent more on transfers while at Villa than Freiburg have in their history but with modern transfers I suspect that wouldn't be as revealing as it sounds.

Interesting to have seen what a Forest/Freiburg would have looked like. More of a contest presumably.

Villa have the highest revenue in the competition by a country mile, at around €400M. Next was Roma at something over €200M, then I think it was us and someone else at a fairly similar level around €160M.

Stuttgart are higher than us too - just short of 300m EUR.

Times reporting that the Southampton intern told the commission he was 'pressured by senior figures to go on spying missions'.

They add that Eckert's position now looks untenable after the panel criticised the 'deplorable' use of junior staff.

He's a manager for 5 minutes and blows up his entire future career.
All he has to do was not get relegated and it would have been a successful tenure.

I'm already worried about the Sheepshaggers record being beaten by Hull.

Near certain he'll be playing in the premier league for someone.
