In further not at work this week news, Ive just bought a new and current Forest away shirt for the first time since the blue pinnacle offering in 97.
Because it's sponsorless I think it looks quite nice with the trefoil.
As a general rule, I do not wear football shirts unless for sport and / or running / walking. I do not play any sport these days or do much running, and yet here we are.
I also decided to size up because fat knacker.
I also bought the new away shirt this morning. Not bought an away shirt ever to my knowledge (though I buy the home shirt most years). But I didn't much like the home shirt this year and love the away shirt so decided to break with tradition.
Tricky will be along shortly to call us mugs for bowing to the corrupt systems that's been systematically drilling us dry for years.

A guy in the work canteen in London came up to me today and told me he'd seen me on TV in the Sunderland v Forest game. Turns out he's a Forest fan and has seen me about, then saw me there and recognised the face.
Just had an emergency government alert delivered to everyone in the house's phones, but it has come in Welsh only, so no idea what the emergency is.
Edit: The English came five minutes later. Good to know they give Welsh speakers a five minute headstart in getting away from the fires. Good they've found a use for it that isn't incoming nuclear bomb.

Emergency alerts are sent by the network to any device connected to the towers included in the broadcast region. If my Canadian device were there today running on a travel eSIM, I'd have received the message. It's not delivered or managed in the same way as a text and it won't be waiting for you when you reconnect to your home network.
So I can set fire to shit then, cool!

At the self checkouts everyone leaves their receipts behind. My bonus receipt yesterday has given me over a Fiver's worth of points, and Morrisons will now think I own a dog. Marvelous.
