Those are your criteria, not mine. But ok:
- He's making some of our better players worse
- Russell Martin has Premier League experience
- All of our last few managers have won trophies, although obviously Ange was very coy about it
- Clear identity in football style = tactical inflexibility
- Please point me to the games he has won

For me, the goal being disallowed was almost certainly the right decision but the wrong process (not enough evidence to overturn the on field decision).

Also Munoz’s throw in technique needs to be studied in detail.

Actually played a very nice ball over to Munoz soon after he came on which opened up that side. I thought Munoz was going to drive on an shoot but he paused and played it inside to Morgan (??). -
Missed the whole of yesterday's game as we were out for the day, so catching up now. Seen the interesting post-match comments from Glasner about Murillo's fitness and him coming back from Brazil this summer 'in perhaps not the best shape'.
Glasner does caveat that by saying he'd had a frustrating setback in May to his recovery from a hamstring injury, but that players have to be supremely fit to last the intensity of 95-100 minutes of a Premier League fixture.

I think Glasner is a good manager and a good appointment, but I don't think he has the right mix of players just now and it will take time to have the impact he's being asked for. The mismatch comes with the amount of money we are apparently paying him, for which I'm sure there will be an expectation of miracles.

He did well to find him, but I actually thought the high looping nature of it was the difference between Munoz receiving it with opportunity to get a shot away and not.

Woods pass to Munoz was Supreme but the Colombian seemed to slow way down and not have the confidence to go full speed towards goal. It was disappointing really because that could have been a very good chance.
Anyway wirh Glasner Gettjng paid 13 million he is going to be expected to get European places. I don’t see it just yet. We are going to basically squeeze the life out of other teams and maybe pinch the odd game here and there. I cannot see us going on a charge of free flowing football with goals galore. Any team that scores against us first is probably going to win.
This is why I liked Victor’s tactical flexibility. We will see if Glasner has got it in him to evolve during difficult matches.

As I have posted elsewhere, if you were hired to do a complex 3 month project and your management asked why you haven’t completed it in 2 weeks, you would be pretty fucked off.
If you think Vitor (no C) or Dyche were employed to do the same thing as Glasner, then I suggest you have a word with yourselves.

That analogy doesn't make a lot of sense, there's no suggestion that I've seen that management is asking those questions. We the fans are stakeholders and customers, not management. As stakeholders and customers, we're well within our rights to ask why management has decided to change the go to market model so significantly that it's compromising the product quality because many of the staff responsible for making and delivering the product aren't being put in a position to operate in the roles they're proven in.
Furthermore, we're also entitled to ask why the new project manager has been allowed to build and execute a project plan that is overly dependent on a small number of staff members, with apparently no contingency in place should a couple of them end up on sick leave.
It's also reasonable to look at the rest of the market, as all well run corporations do, and understand what our competitors are doing. A simple CI analysis will quickly show that virtually none of our competition are taking this GTM approach, so we should ask ourselves whether we're doing something brilliantly innovative to outflank the market, or if we're out of step with the market and likely to fail when we meet them at point of sale. Early evidence points pretty clearly, I think.

Hilarious that you posted this when essentially you were screaming about Ange after a couple of weeks. Ironically Vitor came and did exactly what you are banging on about and still got fired for doing a brilliant job by making the players feel valued and also showed flexibility and inclusiveness in his management and tactics.
I think Glasner will be fine (as in Mid table ish probably) but fine isn't going to cut it with the mad Greek when paying him 13 million smackers to turn us into one of the big boys. I hope to be wrong. I think we will get results but I am not sure of the excitement value, especially when our team has got demonstratively slower in the attacking phase. Defending we will be in the top 5%. Goals? Hmmmm.
Anyway, it would be nice not to have a stressful season. At the moment not so sure, but hey ho would be nice not to have to battle relegation. I think the Villa and Cov games will tell us a lot.
