Don't rule out Rahm emanuel as he talks a lot of sense and still has ties to the Obama presidency

This is the worst take yet.

Washington looks like it's going to be a bloodbath in the coming weeks. Hegseth, Muller, Schumer and Jefferies are all under significant pressure from their own parties, and I don’t know if any of them have the leverage to get out of it. The new wave of Bernie-inspired democratic socialists have no use for obstructionist old school Dems who actively try to prevent change.

And he never got his own section at Alton Towers.

Fingers crossed the hang gliding hero rumours come to nothing though. I'm keeping my box set just in case.

So we've now got a despot narcissist in charge of possibly the world's largest nuclear arsenal, a war mongering sycophantic with the keys to the weapons and it has just been confirmed that even their own supporters see them as the buffoons they are.

DeSantis (latter seems most likely to me)

Hopefully, as he has even less rizz (if that’s even possible) than JD or Cruz, the first person with even an ounce of charm will throughly beat him. He is extremely craven though (aren’t they all?) which may just work in his favor.

I’m inclined to think it’ll be someone no one’s really looking seriously at, at this point. See: Obama, Barack H.

That really would be a surprise Republican candidate.

Maybe they’re allowed another 2 terms if they switch sides

It’s floated by some republicans to push another Trump term while avoiding Obama running again. That it’s just two consecutive terms that count.

It’s all extremely mealy-mouthed and childish.
