Having indulged us for 45 minutes clearly Spain will play properly this half and therefore Tuchel needs to go 9 at the back to hang on to the 3 points.
Ahem.
Think it seems optimistic that Spain and France are so scared of England under ‘not Thomas Tuchel’ that they wouldn’t just want to win a football match. Which is very much their thing.
Who do you think ‘not Thomas Tuchel’ is in this scenario?
Maybe I'm watching through the old red-tinted glasses, but I'm not sure I see anyone else in the team as good, or as consistent, at what he's there to do than Anderson.
He's not at the technical level of Jude Bellingham but I'd argue every bit as valuable to the side. He's becoming the metronome and is moving ahead of Rice, I think.
This is all a bit The Simpsons episode where Lisa bases her American Football predictions on whether she loves Homer or not.
In my mind anyway.
I hate Dad is currently tied.
