Oh no. Dan Burn.
Oh no. Dan Burn.
At least his height means he's used to playing at altitude.
England go to 9 at the back
The full Megson.
At least it's got a good track record then
Djedward still king
Why yes, I'd just love another 11 minutes of this...
Off you fuck, Mexico.
I'll say it's no more than was deserved by each side.
Some game that.
I'm super drunk and have to do the whole school stuff in like two hours. Not great.
Advice is surely to keep drinking.
Dunno if this is deemed a bad opinion.. but I fucking love Erling Haaland.
Also.. key to remember that if Cloughie hadn’t plucked his dad out of obscurity then he (Alfie) would never have gotten off with the Viking Warrior Queen he mixed fluids with to create such an epic child. So, when you think about it, he’s one of our own.
It's nice to think this but sadly he's long on record as being a Leeds fan as that's where he was born.
The worst thing about the delayed kick off is having to listen to even more of Rooney.
Im fairly sure that Russ on three pills and a gram is more intelligable.
Can confirm I am not. Also I am even more annoying, and yet somehow much nicer.
I'm on record as hating Tuchel, and I still think he was an awful choice who I'd happily see fired tomorrow. But he fucking nailed it after the red card, he flooded the defence with big units and we just pushed them wide for the last half hour and invited them to throw crosses at our stacked line of massive centre halves. One of the things I hated most about him was his selection of Dan Burn and he was second in my MOTM ranking after Bellingham, because Tuchel put him in the perfect position to dominate.
On top of that, another player I hate was also superb - Gordon was everywhere, I had no idea he had that kind of defensive game in him. Him and Spence continually hunting down the winger and forcing him to play it back into a harmless deep mid every single time he got the ball in the last half hour was a thing of beauty. And Pickford, who I have always had a problem with because he's just not big enough to be an elite goalie in this day and age, was a monster. Honestly, at one point I had a brief flashback to the Coventry City away match when every single player just became a bit more than their individual ability, and the team became a bigger thing than the players. And that's not a thing we've always been able to say about England.
Tonight is one of my favourite England performances I can remember.
Oh no. Dan Burn.
He did very well and was what we needed.
Still buzzing from that game despite the short nap I’ve just had.
Not convinced I’ll be buzzing in a few hours whilst at work.
