The Rape Verdi game ended up being a classic. Really felt for the islanders as they had the Argie bastards near the end as they were knackered. Owen goal seals it for the joucy buggers.
They also have a massively easy path to the semis. England are fucked. I have been trying to get tickets for something less than 10k and I cannot. I had a place I could stay too as my wife’s business partner runs Air B N B’s in Mexico City.
I know Mexico will win because of the heat and altitude but if tickets weren’t utterly insane I would be there. And I hate FIFA even more now.
Love Rape Verdi though. What a magnificent performance.

I haven't been following that closely but 21 fouls and 6 cards in the 1st half is a heck of a lot for a tournament where it feels that refs have been encouraged to show leniency to 'let the game flow'.
Annoyingly of my 3 card free fiver bet only 1 of them has landed so far (Laryea). I nearly went for Hakimi, but he has let me down so many times for club and country.
