He’s definitely put on some timber while he’s been in US.

I deeply dislike Brian Brobbey. He's a low talent thug.
This is an elite match up in the "gratuitous shots of hot chicks in the stands" league.
Also elite coaching. Basically held his nerve, changed nothing, and told the fuckers to get out there and be better. Immediate third goal.
And fourth. Sometimes less is more. The trick is to have good players.
Rhythm.
I recognise that Elanga goal
I'm pretty sure Newcastle would be happy to let him come back, if he wanted to.
Quite. You could argue that it's evidence that he hasn't gone to shit, but Newcastle have.
I wish we could have him back.
We're also seeing the "why we sold Elanga" stuff as well though. I'd have him back, but not so much if we're expecting a lot of possession.
If we are, play him up top. I know that modern football has confused the thinking around this, but strikers are allowed to run forwards.
This really reminded me how much I love watching him play, even with the frustration
Sangare finally got the start. From what I've seen of CIV (granted only a couple of games) he is by far their best midfielder.
That's a curious one. I've seen it several times and I'm still not sure if I'd give the goal or not. I think I'm just about going for not, but it's very close.
He played off Wood at Ipswich last season and was unplayable. Spent the whole game drifting around the front positions and picking up Wood's flicks.
Yes, Ipswich were a bit shit on the day, but the two of them would have given any defence problems. Interestingly, Gibbs-White played the deeper quarterback role and was immense - barely got across the halfway line all match.
That versatility and quality makes Tuchel's squad decision all the more baffling. Would have been such a positive option from the bench.

You sure about that?
