Brilliant. So now we learn that in fact you didn't tell Forest that you couldn't make it until after the tour had started, thus removing any possibility of them actually selling those places to someone else, and are still annoyed at them for not giving you another go?

Go book some tickets at your local Cineplex for a movie tonight, don't go, then call them tomorrow morning and ask if you can use them tomorrow night instead. See how that works out.

To be fair to them, you must have known you weren't going before the time the tour started, unless you arrived at WFCG and then someone shat themselves on the car park or similar.

I knew I wasn’t going to be able to go at 2.30 as I was about to leave. I sorted out what needed sorting and then emailed the club at my earliest opportunity 4.05pm to explain why I couldn’t make it and asked if I could be accommodated on another date.

There is absolutely no way if I called at 3pm they were selling those tickets on, it’s not even book able through the website.

They weren’t selling those tickets if I’d let them know I wasn’t coming half hour before. Not a chance.

I just had a look at the Ts & Cs on the website.

So the club is in fact acting entirely within the terms under which you purchased the tickets. I'm sorry, but your outrage / disappointment / complaint would appear to be largely without merit here.

I’ve said all along that the club have adhered to policy and certainly didn’t expect anything. I had just hoped they may accommodate a reasonable request at little/no cost to them when i explained the circumstances of why I couldn’t attend. They didn’t reply and then when chased said they would not.

That left me a bit annoyed hence my post in the annoying me today thread. FWIW I’m over it. Life is too short.

Terribly hungover today. The combination of age and last year's health issues appears to have utterly trashed both my alcohol tolerance and next day recovery ability.
Bugger. Though Mrs Rave had a scan yesterday that revealed gall stones so I guess cutting back even further on the red wine is going to be a thing.

I too am quite hungover, although my tipple of choice these days is vodka. Managed to get through a third of a bottle last night.

Found out this morning that the sister of a university girlfriend has died from Brain Cancer.
My sister was diagnosed with Colon cancer last week.
