More generally .... the difference in quality between the defence and the attack is huge. We'll need to score more than we concede to do well in this tournament. Which concerns me given Southgate doesn't tend to play that way.

No Walker at RB is insane, and I would have TAA ahead of Trippier after last nights second half performance. Shaw will not be fit. Foden in middle of the 3 AM's where he can do most damage. The not Stones CB is a worry, I can't pick between any of them.

Starting eleven to run the legs off the opposition, and bang up the defence. He can come on and bag his second phase back post tap-ins when the oppo is fucked.

Honestly I kind of forgot about Walker. Yeah, he can come in ahead of Trippier.
As others have said, the left-back position is a problem. I don't really want Trippier there, but don't have a good suggestion if not him.
Regarding Foden - it's a nominal placement. I'd be hoping that him, Palmer and Saka rotate between positions along that forward line when we have the ball. I can't not play Palmer on his current form.
Similarly, I really like TAA - but fuck knows how you get him in the team.
