I'm told this sort of practicality is quite normal. Fair play.

That's not practical at all. Us old men need a piss after two cups of tea and a walk.

I hope at least he wore dark trousers.

Knowing my friend as I do, I'd imagine a tactical piss-break was factored into the 15 minutes.

I don't do internet dating. Never been on the apps. I'm pretty good at meeting people in the wild.

It is however very normal these days to be dating multiple people at once, and to be honest about it. "Going exclusive" is a specific step in a modern dating environment.

Due to all this wedding and honeymooning stuff I appear to have missed the start of the hockey season, which simply will not do.

EDIT: This is not amusing, obviously. I posted on the wrong thread due to spazery.

Had to pick something up in Newark. Figured I'd be less than 5 minutes and couldn't see a traffic warden, so didn't pay for the car park.

Got back to the car and thought I'd check how much I'd saved through my astute judgement. "Free for 30 minutes with a ticket." So I risked a fine for the sake of not pressing a button and putting a free ticket in the car. But kept my rebel credentials.

My employer has made a crap brand decision that has been picked up in a completely predictable and funny way by many in wilder and wider society, to the point thaty John Oliver did a sequence on it. I have the sense that "we" have used IP laws to remove it from AoNZ internet.
    It's so pathetic.

Healey ""My choices in this budget mean I've kept the manifesto promise not to raise tax on 'working people'"

Continued freeze of tax free allowance anyone?

Is he a brazen liar or just really thick. I'm going with both!

Once again you prove you cannot think. Jeremy Hunt was the chancellor who extended the freeze to April 2028. Healy still has time to reverse the Reeves extension and keep the manifesto promise.

    The manifesto promise was

Labour will not increase taxes on working people, which is why we will not increase National Insurance, the basic, higher, or additional rates of income tax or vat.

As ever, what they aren't saying is important and they didn't say anything about fiscal drag or the tax bands.

But they did increase NI. Or did they explicitly state Employees NI?
