That reminds me. One of the lads couldn't play tonight because he had to do something with his partner for their anniversary. I asked if she was any good in nets.
"She's a keeper, mate."
Thanks to tonight's The Bridge Of Lies I have learned / learnt that Harrogate Town's nickname is 'The Sulphurites'.
A Marathon bar costs £1.75 from the vending machine at work. World's gone mad.
£1.40 here.
If West Ham are relegated today, next season will be the first in the history of the English top flight (i.e. 137 years, not premier league era) that no club has started with the letter W.
Also (partly as a result of the above), we’ll be in the relegation zone alphabetically.
Dexter Fletcher, off (of) Press Gang and various other stuff has been the voice the McDonalds ads for yonks.
Lee Ross, off (of) Press Gang and various other stuff including DCI Bastard Lytton in Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes, was also Gumbo in ID.

I think their comment that streaking belongs to a different era, and modern kids won't get the reference, is fair. I can imagine it being the source of some uncomfortable conversations for families with young children. I also think it's important not to casually sexualise women all of the time.
Anyway. Modern football has lots of tits involved with the game, without needing extra literal tits.
We certainly need to nipple that in the burd.
I always thought that the whole streaker thing in the 70s was perpetrated by long haired bearded men with a police helmet covering thier, um, helmet.
This may be due to the ICONIC news media archive picture off of 70's streaking that always gets wheeled out featuring a long haired bearded man with a police helmet covering his, um, helmet.
Apologies....didn't really think, because these are 'news images'.
NSFW would have been nice.
