CABEÇA A PORRA DA BOLA, MORATA!
CABEÇA A PORRA DA BOLA, MORATA!
I thought we deserved that and made Villa look very ordinary
I thought we were slightly more pro-active in terms of attacking and managed to deal with turnovers and counters.
They made a defensive mistake. We didn't.
I also thought the structure / shape / knowing where to stand was excellent.
Has Vitor added some tactical nous to Dyche's fitness regime?
Wood back helps hugely of course.
Fixed that for me.
Emery being very sarcastic about the ref and VAR not calling the Anderson tackle.
He's officially rattled. Which is nice.
Agreed. Two banks of four works defensively. Always has. As long as it's properly structured and in the right position on the pitch. What's unusual is having a player as good as MGW who manages to be both defensively disciplined, and float across the front line, while also picking up pockets behind. It also helps having a midfielder that he can link up with to play world cup around a bemused opposition.
Some excellent performances, including probably Hutchinson's best game in a Forest shirt, but Anderson was absolutely imperious. Very lucky to stay on the pitch, but our midfield out thought, out fought and out worked theirs. Some of the interplay between Ando and MGW was next level.
I like our manager, he good.
Dominguez MAn of the Match for me.
Anderson and Hutchison also good.
Noone was bad.
Anyone got a clip for this Anderson challenge that everyone in Birmingham is crying about? I've not seen it.
I play Warhammer all the time.
Warhammer and raves. That’s me.
It was fine.
(Worse than the Cohen one against Leeds that me and Russ always argue about)
Our group as well. Dominguez was fucking mint.
Great night. Cracking atmosphere. Still in it.
I'm officially scared.
For all the Hutch praise I feel his delivery was still a bit iffy. There were several times where the ball ended up in Martinez's hands and I couldn't tell if it was a cross or a weak shot. He seems to do better when he goes outside on his weaker right foot. Tonight there were a few flashbacks to the Dyche era of get to the corner of the box, cut inside and...oh.
He's doing better under Vitor, but there's still work to be done. And his corners are still what I'd call 'optimistic'.
Just don’t let him anywhere near any player purchase decisions this summer.
