The managerial merry-go-round

Iraola football while playing twice a week will be interesting.

Having got them promoted, the Lincoln manager has gone to Bristol City. Replacing him at Lincoln is our very own Chris Cohen.

That seems like a massive gamble.

He's been coaching there a while and he seems to be well thought of as a coach, so it might work out. Although apparently it's a joint manager job which makes it way riskier imo, with some bloke called Tom Shaw.

Mourinho back to Real confirmed.

Odd move for him, no one does well at Bristol.

Assume he’s thinking he’s got a shit load more money and if/when it doesn’t work out he’ll get another gig at a Lincoln.

Anyway, hopefully CC proves himself at Lincoln and in a dozen or so managers time (so a couple of years), he can come home.

Always liked Cohen. Anyway, Why would you not go from Lincoln to Bristol City? Ignoring the huge gulf in club size and opportunity, Lincoln is a shithole bollock deep in Reform nutters and Bristol, well, isn't.

I'd defend the first point, but it's hard to argue against the second.

I wonder if they told Iraola to hold off signing with anyone.

Just realised we'll no longer be able to sing Zombie at him and now I'm sad. One of my favourite Forest songs in years, along with American Boy for CHO.

I don't know, hopefully he will slot in at Palace.
