Without context, Chelsea have increased Delap's value by 50% after a year when he's barely scored a goal. Obviously you have to ignore the fact that his price was only £30m because of his release clause.

I wonder how much the buy option is for Omari's move to Milan. I find it very hard to imagine that they will take it up.

Reports the Abbot deal has a buy option. Seems odd as we don’t actually know how good he will be yet. Not that I think on what I’ve seen he’s going to be a regular at this level.

It's been badly handled IMO. He should have been on loan somewhere like that 12 months ago. Then we'd have a better idea.

We needed him last year due to the extra games though.

Especially with the enforced smaller squad for Europe.
