L'Equipe says that Spurs are taking about signing Falogun for £60M. That seems like a massive overpay.

You mean knock the Derby out of him?
Wood ought to be the perfect role model for Delap. Personally I think it would be the ideal signing. Wood used to be faster than he is now, and was a weapon in a number of ways.
Good player, but not at that number.
I personally would prefer Balogun myself. I still think we might be priced out by Chelsea being mental so might have to look elsewhere.
I know we were also interested in the the Monaco striker but Spuds seem to be biuying up everyone which is annoying...
Spence is interesting Milan so I guess that one is a non starter too. He must be a pain in the arse if no English club other than Everton were interested.
Chicago: Still missing Djed's mum.
Really wish everyone would refuse to buy and loan Chelsea's ridiculous number of unwanted players every season. It would really screw their 'model' up.
Problem with that is that lots of their unwanted players are good. Although ManU signing Santos seems a bit demeaning for them.
Especially paying Chelsea prices. Which goes against my wanting to get Delap.
Surely there's someone else of a similar mould?
I know. Annoying isn't it. We can dream.
David Frattesi appears to be joining Lazio, although I feel like our interest in him passed a while ago (or maybe his in us).
Not that I'm convinced our interest was ever real, but it sounds like Reijnders is going to Saudi for €60M.
Yep, his wages would surely have made it impossible.
I still think we’ll get Bergvall. He’s not going to get a game at Spurs, there were those reports that he’d discussed his role with Glasner and wanted to come. Until he signs for someone else, or we get a Camara type, I think he’ll sign.

Agreed. It's gone very quiet. I think both he and we are patiently waiting for Spurs to realise they aren't going to get the money they want.
Liverpool and Netherlands right-back Jeremie Frimpong was apparently in the stands last night.
But I think that was as a former Leverkusen player watching his former team-mates and not looking at his new club ahead of a move Trentside.
John Percy...
#nffc are close to signing former Fulham goalkeeper Steven Benda on a free transfer. Benda set for a medical on Friday to add cover in GK department. Forest want to sign a new centre-forward & right wing-back before the deadline but will only move if players are clear upgrades
