Evening Post says that Dortmund and Leverkusen are both interested in Cuiabano, and that he doesn't particularly want to come back to the WFCG because he didn't like the UK.
Hadn't really thought about it but Morgan only signed a three year extension last summer, so if we want maximum value, we'd probably be looking to sell this summer. Murillo and Anderson still have three years left...
I'm not so worried about who we might sell out of the three (obviously not wanting to lose any), I'm more worried about who we might sign with the money given our catastrophic spending last summer and at Christmas.
I think Morgan may have priced himself out of a move with the new contract last summer.
He's very good for us, but I'm not convinced top-six clubs are looking to drop those wages on a player like him, i.e. mid-20s, blows a bit hot and cold, lessening resale value and edging further away from the England squad.
I agree that I'd be more disappointed with Murillo going because part of me feels that McAtee could step into a MGW void, but I'm not sure Cunha (or maybe Bindon) are ready to start PL matches regularly. Morato for Murillo would be heartbreaking.
