Latest from Romano, for what that's worth, is that Palace have rejected the offer and said they have no intention of selling.
Interesting to see what happens next because, as others have pointed out on here, clubs don't make bids without first sounding out a player's interest.
Hendo wants to play for the OG. Palace would be nuts to sell him.
My guess and hope is the price goes up a bit but it happens.
Grand Old Team thread on us buying Armstrong now up to 174 pages. They seem to have collectively gone through the seven stages of grief in less than 24 hours.
Mr Marinakis: "Parrish. You know who this is. You still have Wharton, be happy that I am letting you live. For now.
.......
I will await your decision, but not for long."
"We can perhaps forget about that banner lawsuit now, yes?"
My favourite socials post was a terribly upset fan that it would be unforgivable for a team like Forest to be buying him.
I don't disagree, but it's still quite funny.
They have convinced themselves that he’s going from 5k a week to 100k but there’s no chance we’re making him one of our best paid players. My guess is he’ll be on about half that.
This is one of my favourite things I've seen on the internet in a long time. Last line... Who wants to tell him?
Percy says Armstrong is OFF in big caps and everything.
Sarr is going to Juventus
Bergvall it is, then.
Presumably Everton will need to sell players to get £40m or so of profit in the next couple of days, otherwise they never would have been looking to sell him anyway. It's all very odd.
The fan revolt scuppered it, shame Ornstein publicised it before it happened.
Something else might come out of nowhere (hi Adam Wharton) but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get another midfielder, it looks and sounds like McAtee + 1 hod carrier from Sangare, Dominguez, Yates, Schlager is something Glasner is quite happy with. There is also Andre, although that could be an Olympiakos thing.
I've really gone off that deal. I hope not.
Bergvall is or was clearly someone de Zerbi wanted to keep and he has been playing, so it seems pretty unlikely. The poorness of their start might help though.
He is clearly a good player and talented but they don't need to sell. They are on track to be the richest club in the league, despite being poor on the pitch.
