Why don't we just offer to swap him for John Victor? He's an upgrade on their keeper.

Someone at Forest is good at selling shitty keepers for inflated prices, I like this plan. Tricky for DoF.
Find out who sold Chelski theirs. That's the fella we want.
I'm not sure how you can watch this reel as a Forest fan and not be at least a little bit excited by the prospect. It's a while since we've had this kind of centre forward.
The new Ricky Lambert
His style of play reminds me more of Mitrovic. Strong on the ball, shoots from anywhere. Not sure if he's quite as good in the air as Mitrovic was.
Much more mobile than Mitrovic.
He a bit basement bargain Collymore isn't he?
No. More Temu Alan Shearer.
He was about the hottest striker going last summer and made the wrong move. Which pretty much everyone could see. But this summer he’s getting the move to a club of his current level and he’s richer so maybe it worked out.
It’s what Glasner wants and what we need so hope it goes through.
They're all a bit different, but this the best comparison.
Poor man's though, not bargain basement. Fucking nuts money.
Delap reminded me of SVC when he was at Ipswich, with his ability to run with the ball at speed and willingness to shoot from distance. Stanley was also a bit of a knob too.
I counted one assist by Hutchinson, one for him and another two that Hutchinson should probably have done better with.
I think this is correct. What sort of team that you are, is probably going to impact how effective a player is. I don't really buy the 'couldn't handle the step up to a big club' narrative. It's more that attributes are not a fit for the requirements of the new team. (At chelski largely getting the ball higher up the pitch, with less space to operate in - see also rhythm at nuke hassle)
You see this in lots of moves, where the player is a terrible fit for the target clubs style of play (grealish at shitty, for example).
It doesn't help that fans think that they are 'buying goals or assists' without the team actually creating the situations where those goals and assists came from. And without the teammates that player was connecting with to make them.
I find it all a bit weird how much money is paid for wrong fit players. This was Peter Taylor's genius. He could see what a player could actually do, rather than just what he was currently doing.
Percy says "#nffc transfer news - Dilane Bakwa is joining Lille on loan for the season. Bakwa will fly out for a medical today and has chosen Lille - who will play in the Champions League this season - amid interest from Ipswich, Hull C & Fiorentina. No option to buy #losc"
To provide balance to the Chelsea video:
Spurs supposedly interested in Neco but Forest have told them they're not interested in selling him. Let's see though, Spurs aren't afraid of making outrageous offers and everyone has their price.
