    Is it? I remember reading the story to my daughter a number of years ago and I don't recall the Pet Shop Boys warranting a mention. Presumably they wanted to show some modesty.

    That Wet Leg song with the screechy guitar hook about wanting to fight and raising arms aloft while sporting pit hair action in (presumably) some sort of statement of strength. Or something.

    Anyway it's both inexplicable and rather annoying.

    I remember seeing the video to that back in the day on The Chart Show or somesuch, thinking they somehow reminded me a bit of an embarrassing dad / uncle duo at a family wedding, 4 Skols and a bottle of Black Tower in, suddenly deciding to get down with the kids.
