Do City just go through the motions for the rest of the league season, with the games being meaningless to them? Guess so. They'll not be trying very hard I imagine!
Also what happens if they win one of the cups? Do they get to play in Europe next season still from the Championship?

Guys all of these is great speculation, but it's what 3-5 years away with the speed this thing moves at.
And also look at the Chelsea fine, 10m was it? City will get a fine, maybe a transfer ban for year or two and perhaps an asterisk against the trophies won.
It's worth pointing out that the chelski 'sanctions' were an absolute joke.

It would be interesting to know who leaked the findings, and what the dynamics around that are. It makes it very hard for it to be swept under the carpet. Perhaps that was part of the intent.
It's hard to see how sanctions can't be deep (debilitating) and wide (over multiple seasons), given what people know and the public reaction to that. The 'ship has a massive credibility problem.

I suspect City leaked it so they can claim the whole process was inept, corrupt, biased etc eetc.And probably go to real court to mire things up for more years.
As Tricky says follow the money. And it's all with City owners.
Surely there's a case that the cheating during those specific seasons has had an enormous impact on City's ability to compete in subsequent seasons. They wouldn't have the squad they currently have without all the cheating over previous seasons.
I don't think that's possible due to the FA handbook. They can't even go to CASS.
