It was actually funny as fuck to watch. Maguire, in particular, was increasingly completely wound up, because he wasn't getting decisions that he would normally take for granted getting there. Not decisions that he should have got, just ones he was used to getting, you understand.

Have they said they got the Foden decision wrong yet? The Fernandez kick in his back to start it off was worse, but it should have been two yellows. Not that VAR could do anything about the Fernandez kick after the ref decided to ignore it, because VAR only intervenes once the boxes are ticked, without the application of common sense. Which I guess is a reflection of the world we live in.

The onfield officials got it right. Ubercunt Fernandez was miles offside dived to head ball and dragged Midlevelcunt Martinez away from Haaland. Flag went up.
Edit: ignore me. Apparently the flag went up for Haaland offside which VAR overturned. Neither the Lino nor VAR could see Fernandez in the middle of the box, evidently.
