If we all stopped going and watching the Premier League isn't that exactly what the clubs want so they can sell tickets game by game for higher prices to casual fans, mainly from overseas.
I don't think it was obvious to me that this was where things would end up at the point when protest etc might have made a difference.
And bigger clubs always got better treatment through history didn't they?
