Arsenal are the first team in Premier League history to go the full season without getting a red card or conceding a penalty. Cloughie would approve.

I'm sure tricky has a theory on this though.

Also, I hadn't realised how many legit Premier League legends were bowing out today. Pep, Bernardo Silva, Mo Salah - if there was a Football Hall Of Fame (and I wouldn't mind if there was, it's one of the things about NA sports that I think is great) all three of them would be in on the first ballot.

Well, we can see that they are cheating at the front end with the financials, seems unlikely that they woudn't cheat at the back end if they found a suitable mechanism. It seems reasonable to hold a critical view in the light of available evidence.

You don't have to go very far back to find evidence that this statistic shouldn't exist. Specifically the Havertz challenge a couple of games ago. A challenge that anyone with a passing acquaintance with football and the laws could see was a clear straight red. That is anyone apart from the officials on the day, who had the benefit of multiple angles, and the opportunity to stop the game, analyse, and apply appropriate sanction. And didn't.

I'm sure that you can contort yourself into a position where this is entirely explainable, as just an accident. Another one.

Oh, silly me. That's League One. Hopefully Nottz can join them.....

Crossing London was horrendous last night. Arsenal fans everywhere, running up and down tube platforms.

My comments about still being able to see the tags on their newly purchased shirts weren't that well received.

    Speaking of.

Does anyone know if Ingo's checked in yet?

2-0 up at HT, the mercury's touching the high 30s out there and he's going to be many Madris deep by now.

3-0 Pies and the possibility of Leicester being the 7th highest ranked side in the East Midlands next season is very real.

Congrats to Notts. Neville and Beckham looking sad was funny too.

The County manager seems like a character too. Interesting interview with Nigel Reo Coker and Troy Deeney.

Anyway back to taking care of the Two week old cat.

    Chicago: Having a day off.

Lots of talk, including from Percy, that the shaggers are about to sell 80% of the club to some Saudi guy who invests a lot in boxing and has a track record of being a bit of a cunt.

Solid day out, particularly for the kids. Youngest is 4 and a bit hard work. On the tube to Wembley he started shouting "you pies", much to the delight of the fans. Then he waited until it went quite again and shouted "you reds".

I had a Peroni at lunch and a Madri on the train home.

Had a day out in London yesterday with the kids and feared it would be a horrendous train journey back with Notts fans on a packed train. EMR was a shambles in terms of trains running but did have a queuing system going on so the train wasnt too packed and the Notts fans were so well mannered and behaved you wouldn’t have even known it was pretty much a football train. Not sure you could say that for many clubs.

I was getting a train in the opposite direction yesterday. 14:00 - 16:09, Sheffield to London. Train left Sheffield 10 minutes late, got to Derby, and was then cancelled. Had to stand on a platform in Derby for 30 minutes and then we all piled on the next London train. Got a seat thankfully, but many didn't. Finally got to London at about 17:30. I actually had the Nintendo Switch with me, some snacks and cold drinks, and honestly it wasn't the end of the world. Had a nap for the last 30 minutes even. Bonus is I'll get a full refund of the ticket price.
