I also think second-season syndrome could well hit Sunderland - given how poor they've been since January and how easy we undid their tactics at SoL, I think they could struggle.
Very early prediction - bottom three of Ull, Sunderland and Palace. Although I'd love it, just love it to be Muff, Brentford and Newcastle.
I'm sure that's what the bookies are saying.
But I rate Lampard and McKenna and would hope Ipswich will have learnt the lesson which is seemingly beyond Scott Parker and Burnley.
And only three times have all three promoted teams gone down (although two of those were 23-24 and 24-25).
Just noted that Everton have not had a single shot on target v Spuds. I think you can say that Spuds were extremely lucky with who they had to play in 3/4 last games and also include Everton in those teams who will be struggling next season.
Don't be annoyed with them. Be annoyed with whoever put the fix in to make sure that a big brand, who couldn't win a game, had walkovers over villa and Everton.
