Went to see these last minute at a Radio 6 thing. Really good and some room for growth. Headline I didn't know but hung around for them. Mandy, Indiana. Fucking immense. Weird beats, samples, noise and french girl vocals.

"Blue Lines" by Massive Attack was released 35 years ago on Wednesday. The album is as old to the youth of today as Elvis Presley's debut album was to me back in 1991.

Currently being introduced to Getdown Services.. who may tickle some fancies in these parts. Dunno where they are from but there’s an East Mids tinge to the vocals. Does anyone remember MC Pitman? It’s like him but with fancier backing tracks.
