Black Sabbath announced a final gig at Villa Park with all the original member and the line up is insane. Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Alice In Chains, Tom Morello, Gojira, Pantera, Lamb Of God, Billy Corgan, Wolfgang van Halen, Slash, the list goes on. Tickets will be incredibly hard to get.
Pity that is not Riot Fest this year as we get a reformed Sex Pistols. Iggy Pop and the Stooges. Dead Kennedy's. The Replacements and The Ramones. Talk of Rage Against The machine too. Sweeeeet. I would also go to the Villa Park one too. I wonder if it ends up an Oz Fest type festival.
I mean Marky, CJ, Richie, and Elvis (Clem Burke) are still around, but that’s three drummers and a bassist.
I’m understand carrying on to some extent, even if I personally don’t agree (see: Alice In Chains) but a band with zero original members is certainly a choice.
I'm mildly amused to see the former 'cruises are my idea of hell and disastrous for the environment' stance has been readily fucked off to accommodate this worthy enterprise.
