I used to really like them. Not sure I even realised they were still a thing.

Yeah, they should have just stopped after that album as most of their newer stuff is pretty crap. Still, it was a good night
Having played their final ever tour in 2019, Slayer have decided that they're going to reunite and play some festivals including Riot Fest in Chicago.
One more time then!
Chicago: Ready to Mosh
Saw Pantera and Lamb Of God last night. Pantera isn't really Pantera without Vinnie and Dime, but they were still very good. This is the third time I've seen Lamb, each time they've been the support and each time they've been the highlight of the night.
Now listening to What's Goin' On by Marvin Gaye on a long train journey. First time I've listened to this album in years. Top ten all time. A masterpiece.
Sometimes it's good to go Old School. Judas priest have a new album out and it's great. Fun, mental, metal. Just bloody marvellous.
It's also good to listen to when wankered on bourbon. I suspect it's just as good sober but right now I am having a good time.
Chicago: Turbo Lover.
Saw The National live this week. They were very good indeed. I thought they might be a bit po-faced about it all, but nothing of the sort… Matt Berninger is a terrific live frontman with great energy (including numerous foreys way deep into the crowd). It was a lot of fun.
Support from Fleet Foxes who I’d never paid any attention to before.. and won’t pay attention to ever again. Boring band, shit name.
Xmal Deutschland have just released and album of pre 4AD singles. Some of it is a bit crap but nevertheless intriguing for the development of one of my favourite Goth bands. You probably won't like it.
Well apart from you but that goes without saying.
They have that "I was following the..." song which I quite like.
Yes, that one is ok. It doesn’t sound like any of their other songs though.
This is fucked up and I can't decide if it's brilliant or horrible.
I'd go weird.
I’d go with not brilliant, and also, why?
Talk about late review.
Occasionally a song that I’ve know for years kinda hits a new spot in my brain and I love it on a whole new level and can’t stop listening to it. Today that song is Gustavo by Mark Kozelek and Jimmy Lavelle
Well that Mike Patton Brtiney thing is rubbish but at least he gave it a go.
Going old school, Sum 41 have their final album out. Heaven X Hell. It's really really good. Not bad for a bunch of rehabbed Canucks.
Next up: The New Black Crowes album 'Happiness Bastards'.
Chicago: Going back to the future.

He did not. It was AI.
