The next Sleaford mods gig?
The next Sleaford mods gig?
Dave at the O2 last night.
Or in wrong thread.
Or both.
You decide.
Is that Loaf's mum now that Ingo's pushed his balls in too?
I'm a big draw.
If you like industrial dance music type stuff, with a bit of a NIN influence, try the Chalk Album. Also touring in April
At the start of whatever they will be, starting to get some good attention, Silverwingkiller. Fucked up dance noise.
Not really my thing but I don't hate it.
Went to see these last minute at a Radio 6 thing. Really good and some room for growth. Headline I didn't know but hung around for them. Mandy, Indiana. Fucking immense. Weird beats, samples, noise and french girl vocals.

I was recently introduced to this guy.

One man industrial noise stuff with a variety of home made instruments. Very impressive.

God that is awful
You are allowed to be wrong. I forgive you.
"Blue Lines" by Massive Attack was released 35 years ago on Wednesday. The album is as old to the youth of today as Elvis Presley's debut album was to me back in 1991.
I should add that Tricky eventually broke through following Massive Attack and set up TalkBack to pontificate and establish his world order.

No, sorry, check that again. It was about 10 years ago. 15 at most.
Currently being introduced to Getdown Services.. who may tickle some fancies in these parts. Dunno where they are from but there’s an East Mids tinge to the vocals. Does anyone remember MC Pitman? It’s like him but with fancier backing tracks.
“Provide me your name” is two blokes arguing about who phoned who and it’s just great.

I saw Pitman at the Charlotte. Shame he stopped making music.

I know this sounds like grade-A muso cunt stuff… but I really think his first LP failed to live up to the genius on the early 7”s.
He may have had no more to give the world than Phone Pitman and Witness the Pitness but, honestly, that’s more than enough.
I've not revisited him for a while, and I don't think he's hit spotify. I did always like his "mam said" LL Cool J.
Very late to the party but I have just discovered The Quantic Soul Orchestra. Quite magnificent.
