Alright then, fuckit.
Alright then, fuckit.
There you go. Nobody died. Very lovely, you talented bastard.
When you said "played" I thought you meant football. I was expecting a highlights clip of some local park football teams kicking lumps out of each other.
At the gym (my name is Ingo and I've been to the gym blah blah) the youngsters seem to be obsessed with posing and taking pictures of themselves in the changing rooms. My immediate reactions is that taking photos in changing rooms is really appropriate. Should I:
A) Ignore it
B) Complain
C) Try and find a non-gay gym
D) d.
Make sure you're in every shot, stark bollock naked, making rude gestures at the camera.
I would but my knob is tiny and I've got a sore patch on my arse.
Write ‘gayboys take selfies’ in soap on the mirrors.*
I wrote ‘Mike is gay’ in soap on the mirror at work so when my boss takes a shower and the mirror steams up he sees the mirror accusing him of bum-duggery.
*Probably a hate crime.
Assuming you meant "really inappropriate", I agree. I don't really care about them taking photos or videos in the gym itself as long as they're not getting in my way or unnecessarily hogging equipment to do so, although I recognise that some people are put off by it and have no problem with gyms banning it altogether, but in the changing room is a hard no. Depending on who it is doing it and the likelihood of them getting in my face, I would either tell them directly to knock it off or complain to the gym management and have them deal with it.
Indeed. Gym? Whatever. Changing room? Fuck off. Accuse them (with a straight face) of trying to take pictures of your arse and say you're going to talk to the manager.
Due to the amount of influencers /content creators making gym videos, and people wanting to document their personal journey, it has become a bit of an issue for a lot of gyms.
I have heard of gyms seeing the photos/videos themselves, identifying and banning the person doing it.
Changing rooms are private spaces and it is totally unacceptable.
Most gyms do not like it and will take action.. if they know about it. So I would recommend option B but in a nice, friendly way, rather than full blown Karen way.
I did indeed sorry, one day I might proof read.
Sage counsel all round from the group. Unless I'm confident I could have them in a rip-up I'll mention at reception, hopefully without calling the youth of today either cunts or pounces.
Or just get Joey Swoll involved. He's a bodybuilder on social media who has made it his mission to call out dickheads in gyms who make it a less friendly and welcoming place to go, and one of the things he hates is people filming inappropriately.

I suspect when Joey tells someone to stop filming they do as they told, because although he seems like a really nice dude he's also fucking HUGE.
Will Mr J Swoll tell me off over the internet for soap-related, childish homophobia?
He probably would.
Sorry Mr J Swoll.
I have worked in a gym for almost 20 years. Whilst admittedly a lot of the clients are vain and usually women who have body dysmorphia, (which is what keeps me in a job because most of these ladies are really in top shape). Not one person has been in the gym space doing selfies or cataloging their journey.
Probably because our training is hard and you are knackered afterwards and I have clients on the half hour for hours on end and also are generally not late teens early twenties dickheads. Also our training is one on one and most of our clients wants privacy
What a bunch of ponces. Clearly Ingo is getting hit on as he is seen as mature (tee hee) and just doesn't know it. Or fat shamed.
Chicago: Civilized.
.
Unless you've just secured a second successive Premier League season and Waka Waka is involved, obvs.
I go in changing rooms. To my knowledge nobody has ever tried to photograph my arse there.
Presumably camera phone wide angle lenses aren't up to that yet?
