Just been for Covid and flu jabs.
And now feel like shit.
I had the covid and flu jabs and nothing. They never seem to bother me maybe because I have had neither of them. Athough what bothered me was that I had to pay for my Covid shot $150 (after discount) because my insurance company refused to pay for it which is..a..bit..odd...
Fucking medical for profit system.
Chicago: Luckily quite Healthy.
Work paid for mine which was good. No side effects pleasantly.
I had mine last week. I guess being in the immuno-compromised bracket is good for something.
Never had any side effects. The time I tested positive it was little more than a cold (although that was pre immuno).
Watching "The Premiership Years' on Sky Sports from the 1999 / 2000 season and it struck me as to how many dead (Vialli, Taylor, Houllier, Smith, Ferguson*) managers are featured.
Then I realised this was 25 years ago so statistically, it's (probably) not all that surprising. 25 years though.
*probably almost
Off on holiday for the week.
Mrs Florist has just tried to take a Stanley knife through customs.
Had you noticed that she had become radicalised?
Went downstairs to sort out my wet washing. Came back upstairs with a bottle of beer. Forgot the washing.
Went out for coffee today and it was quiet so was chatting to the barista as she made our drinks. Apparently they have a customer who comes in every day before work around 7.30am and orders a large latte with six extra shots. That's nine shots overall. And this customer sometimes comes back at lunchtime for the same order.
I'm astonished she's not dead.
With the price of coffee these days it’d be cheaper to have a casual speed habit. Would save money on food too.
I regularly have seven double espressos from spoonies, to perk me up on a night out.
I think it's a total of £1.50.
I assume things have improved since I left, but that used to be about the minimum needed to get a coffee in England that actually tasted like.. well.. anything.
I'm back in South East Asia for a short break, ordered an Americano at KUL Airport, remembered only in Britain does it get the option of milk.
Because if you wanted a coffee with milk you'd order a coffee with milk?
