I've just had blood test. Thanks for the reminder about the cricket. Thought it started tomorrow for some reason.

As a lifelong night owl, it distresses me to inform that I have developed the habit of rising at 6 every day in order to go to the gym before starting work.
I’ve had a haircut. Will also try to keep up with the cricket. Looking forward to the Test at Trent Bridge next week.
Think I will have another coffee. I went too early.
Because Thursday is the correct day for test matches to start, probably.
There on the Saturday. Correctly, the third day.
I had to be in work for 8:20am to register students for an 8:35 start. We then do pointless tasks until 9am because someone thinks they're useful. Today's tasks were "Discuss the importance of curiosity", followed by Welsh Wednesday - watch the Welsh rapper Deg i Deg. 50 year olds think this will help 14 year olds to be more patriotic. You can guess what the 14 year olds think.
School starts early so that older kids can get back to the primary schools to pick up younger siblings this enabling you lot to keep working until 5.
Because Year 11 have done exams so left school and I'm leaving teaching, I have nothing to do between 9am and 12:15, with me finishing the day with Year 9, lunch then Year 10. Four more working days.
Sunday for me. Hoping it’s not all over by then.
In an exciting morning routine news update....
In the end I got caught in school traffic, then had to turn back as I realised I'd left my phone when The News Agents podcast hadn't kicked in, then took the wrong turning when I set off a second time meaning a slightly more convoluted route, and still managed to be in a good 20 mins or so earlier than usual.
Tonight I'll leave the office at a sensible hour and be homo well before 5.30.
This is a most triumphant result.
I think Sean's calling Gay Week.
< expressionless deadpan sideways eye swivel to camera and then straight back>
<canned laughter>
Thursday and Saturday for me because I say yes before I think.
Windies properly Kenting this. Though it was nice to see England let that OAP open the bowling before bringing the proper guys on...
I'm going tomorrow, was a bit worried that we wouldn't see much play due to the weather, but now more concered it will be over by lunch.

Looks like lunch might have been hopeful.
It will last one over more than the point at which they have to refund you.
