Spent quite a lot of time looking for a key, that was in my pocket, today.

Mowed the lawn. In a moment of inspired genius I realised that I had a spare golf trolley drinks holder, and so now my lawnmower has a beer holder.
So you've cut down your alcohol intake lately, but you still think it necessary to facilitate a means to drink beer whole operating heavy machinery?
Fair do's.
Child Benefit not paid. A quick Google brings up a Mumsnet thread showing I'm not alone, loads not received it.
Funnily enough I stumbled across this earlier.
Cyber attack just took our website server down for an hour or so. Probably Russians.
My money is on Tricky.
Took Little Miss Shady to three kids parties today; I'm fucking exhausted - but two work mates are currently on the train up from London for a "big night out" with me. Energy drinks here I come.
Three kids parties on the same day? Either a bunch of parents from her school aren't talking to each other enough, or Little Miss Shady has got an impressively large social network already.
And clearly made the mistake of getting involved at the parties. I’ve got quite good at getting a decent vantage point where I can see my kids but have to put in minimum effort. Although to be fair the wife usually takes the party duty.
Well two were birthday parties (yes, they should have talked to each other) and one was a leaving do which was more coordinated around their wider families availability I think.

We split things pretty evenly. Ish. I did manage a good hour or so in a pub garden talking to some other parents while Mrs Shady supervised in some other part of the garden this afternoon. The two pints isn't helping my energy levels right now.
The company I'm working for is being bought out, as far as I can tell it's not going to have any impact on me at all
They always say that at the start ....

I've only been in that position once and it didn't have any impact for a while. And then it did a bit. And then a bit more. And after a while, I realised all the reasons I worked for the original company were gone and shortly after that, so was I.
This sounds a lot like tory promises. It's almost as if they are from the same playbook.
