Not if they’ve got any sense

Well they're mostly 4-5 year olds, so I think one parent is necessary. We're not quite in the 'drop off' stage of parties yet. Though I'm really looking forward to that age.

The drop off age is fantastic. It was our youngest's party on Saturday, he is 2 so no such luck there for the parents. In other related news, I no longer fear hell for I have been to Ed and Molly's Playbarn.

Is it really as awful as I imagine it to be? Mrs Charlie has booked for us to take two grandchildren there in a couple of weeks. I may have to be ill.

    What day/time are you going?

A Saturday morning at about 11, I think.

Will be 11.15, which is peak E&MPB. Doubley so if it's raining. Darting feral kids dribbling biscuits everywhere crashing into tutting middle class parents. I wouldn't fuck about feigning illness, I'd scythe mesen.

Never heard of this place. Tempted to do an internet search, but suspect a scam from Ingo to get me on the same register as pete.

Woken At 4am by the bitey dogs next door going mental. Looked out the window and Emilio Estevez was trying to repo a white Ford car. At least I think it was a Repo because the tow truck had it's lights flashing and also he didn't seem to know how to drag the car properly. The car bounced a couple of times before he got it set up properly and promptly set off the alarm three times.

Our neighbourhood is interesting. Luckily we have a garage. We asked later if anyone had seen that and everyone had and all concluded that it was a repo. Although nobody knows for sure. Noisy fucker.

Reminds me of my 'hood. Today we had a gang of kids on bikes rampaging up and down our street.

Well, they were primary school kids in uniform doing their cycling proficiency, but it was pretty crazy out there for thirty minutes all the same.

I was the only kid in my class to fail my cycling proficiency. Ture story.

    And that surprises us how?

Spent an unproductive half hour the other night looking for Kindle recommendations before giving up after nothing grabbed me. Only later did I realise I have an unread Stuart Pearce book on Euro 96 which I must have downloaded previously and forgotten about.

I don't think it will trouble the Pulitzer people but might be a fairly easygoing trip down memory lane.

To be fair, the group will enjoy it.

Little Miss Shady wants a superhero party for her birthday, so I'm currently googling for adult costumes. I'm framing it as being a good dad and doing it for the lolz, but secretly I've always fancied dressing up as Spiderman, so it's win win.
